Barclay Hotel - Tartu

The Barclay hotel is a pleasant and comfortable place to stay for holidaymaker and businessmen. Being in the centre of the city, we are close to all the main sights, including Tartu University, the Town Hall the "Vanemuine" theatre, as well as banks and shopping centres. The house was built in 1912 by Kessler and Pohlman and rebuilt into hotel in 1995. From 1944 to 1992 it was the Headquarters of the Red Army.

Vanemuine Theatre (400 m) - A theatre with 3 auditoriums hosting plays, operas, ballets, operettas and musicals. Tartu University (500 m) - A university with museums and botanical gardens.

The hotel's restaurant offers home-cooked, Estonian cuisine which you can enjoy whilst overlooking Barclay de Tolly Park. Take pleasure in hospitable service, and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, while enjoying delicious food and good wine. The restaurant is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 12:00 to 22:00. From Friday to Saturday it is open from 12:00 to 24:00. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 from Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 11:00 at weekends.
