Barclay Hotel - Tartu

Barclay Hotel is a pleasant and comfortable place to stay for tourists and business travellers in the centre of Tartu. It is close to all the main sights, including Tartu University, Town Hall, and Vanemuine Theatre, as well as banks and shopping centres. The Barclay offers free parking on a small, safe lot. The house was built in 1912 by Kessler and Pohlman and converted into a hotel in 1995. From 1944 to 1992 it was the local headquarters of the Red Army.

The hotel's restaurant offers home-cooked, Estonian cuisine which you can enjoy whilst overlooking Barclay de Tolly Park. Take pleasure in hospitable service, and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, while enjoying delicious food and good wine. The restaurant is open from Sunday to Thursday, from 12:00 to 22:00. From Friday to Saturday it is open from 12:00 to 24:00. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 from Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 11:00 at weekends.
