The old town is just a few minutes walk away. From your apartment you can easily explore the promenades, cafes and restaurants overlooking the water and the winding cobbled streets, lined with charming wooden houses that wind their way back to the sea. The theatres, museums and main sights are also within walking distance. Locals have claimed for many years that the sea mud which abounds in Haapsalu has healing powers. Why not visit one of the three mud cure establishments in town and test out their theory? Cleaner fun can be had wandering around the town's narrow streets filled with quaint wooden houses and at the nearby castle, now a popular tourist attraction.

By car from Tallinn: - Use the E67motorway then the A206 motorway to access Haapsalu. Journey time: Around 1 hour and 15 minutes. By bus: Buses run between Tallinn and Haapsalu once an hour between 08:00 and 21:00. The bus station in Haapsalu is about 1 km from the apartment building.

If you do not want to cook, the staff recommend Hermannuse House - Karja Str. 1A (open 11:00 - 22:00) or Müüriääre Café - Karja Str. 7 (open 10:00 - 20:00).

Please note: All the bookings for apartments in Haapsalu go through the Tallinn office. If you are happy for the company to charge the total cost of the accommodation to your credit card (a valid credit card number and expiry date is needed), then you do not need to go to the Tallinn office. There is no office in Haapsalu, but there is someone who is designated to hand over the keys.
