The hotel is unique as it was built against the historic town wall in 1877 and it also provided accommodation under the same name in the early-20th century. The Imperial was reopened after renovation in 2003. The hotel`s interior and atmosphere are in harmony with the respectable age of the building. The medieval town wall is exhibited inside the hotel; the lobby is furnished with romantic antique furniture with modern touches here and there. Baltic Hotel Imperial is located in the Old Town of Tallinn just a short walk from the heart of the main square - Town Hall Square (Raekoja plats). A nearby park offers leisurely walks, the Patkuli stairs or Pikk Street provide a shortcut to Toompea, which offers breathtaking views of Tallinn.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 10:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 to 11:00. Restaurant: The cheese restaurant St. Michael is located on the ground floor of the hotel. It is the first and only restaurant in Estonia where all dishes include cheese. The restaurant seats 35 people and is open Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 24:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00 to 24:00. Pub: Pub Imperial is perfect place for quick and delicious breakfasts, mid-morning coffee, lunches or cocktails. It seats 80 people and is open every day from 10:00 to 01:00.
